GIT Consult was founded in Berkeley, California in the year 2000. That year we also opened our Prague office, the Czech Republi. At the time our focus was on placing IT & Telco specialists from Eastern Europe with companies in the Silicon Valley to meet the ever-growing need of the internet boom. After the internet bubble burst we started focusing more and more on placing IT & Telco professionals in the local markets. In 2004 we opened our office in Bratislava, Slovakia. In March 2006 the company was acquired by Empresaria plc., a publicly listed company headquartered in the UK. We opened our office in Kosice, Slovakia at the end of 2006 and our newest office in Brno, the Czech republic in 2010.
