IT Manager Network - Position # 3664

Company Profile 

our client is leading operational company operating within IT and payment systems administration 

Responsibilities 

Our client is looking for a strong technical leader to manage day-to-day engineering and operations for client’s firewall administration team. This person must have strong technical and management skills with the ability to plan and execute in a complex, fast-paced environment. Candidates must have high energy, dedication, and expert-level skill.

-Manage organization of 8+ analysts and administrators
-Serve as first point of contact for all firewall issues in region
-Design and development of processes for capacity planning and incident response
-Manage operational relationships with key vendors
-Managing root cause analysis on network caused impacts
-Work closely with our operations teams to supply a seamless operational support organization
-Drive issues to resolution to meet company expected service levels
-Work closely with clients to provision, install and support client connectivity



Qualifications 

-Minimum 5+ years experience, leading and driving technology solutions. Security product knowledge like Check Point/Nokia firewalls, CheckPoint Provider-1, Juniper/NetScreen firewalls, Cisco PIX firewall, Bluecoat ProxyM
-Working various shifts in an on-call environment
-Experience providing 24x7 on-call support
-Demonstrates commitment to deliver outstanding customer service.
-Advanced situational judgment – ability to know what is needed to satisfy the customer.
-Takes ownership to personally resolve customer problems (or find someone who can).
-Strong sense of accountability - ensures that you will do what you say.
-Coaches and mentors team to work together deliver outstanding customer service.
-Works with team to analyze common issues, find root cause, and adjust services or processes to prevent issues from occurring in the future.
-Can operate with a global view, and work closely with a global team.
-Ability to understand and drive a high level of service through metrics and measureme
-Deliver current, direct, complete and actionable feedback to associates to support continuous learning and growth,
-Foster a consistent understanding of strategy, translate it into defined plans, and "stay the course" to implement it, while anticipating and identifying where change is needed.
-Actively listen to others to understand their perspective and ensure continuous understanding regardless of communication channel or audience.
