Java Web Application Developer - Position # 3466

Company Profile 

Our client is international company operating within IT providing services mainly to banks. 

Responsibilities 

- implementation and maintenance of web based interfaces and applications
- several smaller projects related to enhancing and maintaining several web applications
- work closely with the Architect and the Web Application Architecture team in Germany to implement solutions based on web standard approaches for Web Applications
- implement requirements based on the given web standards and create JUnit tests for the implemented functionalities and the support of the system test phase
- resolving production issues should arise.

Qualifications 

· Minimum 2+ years of developing experience, beginners with university degree with programming part-time experience are welcome
· Strong problem solving, analytical and programming skills with a strong understanding of principles behind service-oriented architecture (SOA)
· Good Knowledge in one of the following frameworks / technologies of: JEE, Spring, , Java, XML, XSLT, HTML, Struts, JavaScript, Servlets, JDBC, AXIS
· Good knowledge in the following framework / technologies: JSF, MyFaces Trinidad, Spring WebFlow, Spring Web Services
· Good knowledge in relational databases, Linux, JBoss, Browser
· Implement services / applications and develop distributed, highly scalable, efficient, and fault-tolerant systems focused on creating solutions within service-oriented architecture (SOA)

BS/BA in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience. Masters degree in Computer Science preferred.

· Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills (English)
· Stay active and current in business technology trends, direction and innovation related to business process and technology areas of focus for the position
