Our client is international company operating within IT providing services mainly to banks.
Responsibilities
- Ensures adherence to established standards and may consult with senior managers on technology solutions.
- Supports existing business systems applications and may be responsible for leading technical aspects of a project.
- Works on complex projects and issues within functional technical area.
- Works more independently with IT functional units and business units.
- Recommends strategies for technical aspects of projects as well as broad system improvements.
- Responsibilities with regards to applications will consist of providing technical expertise and design guidance and participation in the development of and support of new and existing applications. - This will mean full development lifecycle responsibilities from requirements, through Analysis, Design, Coding and Unit Testing.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of TSO, Endevor
- Knowledge of IBM MVS/JCL and CA-7
- SDLC experience with Cobol/Assembler development
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
- Basic IBM/MVS utilities: IEBGENER, IEBCOPY, IEFBR14, and IDCAMS
- Experience in the following is helpful: Fileaid, QuickRef, Comparex, SuperC, NDM, and Cyberfusion, CA Service Desk, REXX
