Senior IT Security Engineer - Position # 3818

Company Profile 

Our client is international company operating within IT providing services mainly to banks. 

Responsibilities 

• Responsible for Network-Infrastructure protection within EMEA
• Evaluation of potential tools and solutions for EMEA and USA
• Review network design for Security controls & Future Strategy
• Drive consistent technical Security Design & Innovation and collaborate with other architecture teams both in EMEA & the US
• Review network design for Security controls & Future Strategy
• Responsible for security in the area of system components (e.g. Hardening, IDS/IPS, Firewalls, Personal Firewalls) and weak point analyses
• Investigation & development of all Security components to grant best possible protection to the customers and the business
• Improvement and extension of the security controls globally
• Analysis of the infrastructure, production of concepts, development of all components in the context of the IT Security Policy and the business requirements
• International collaboration within ESRC and Server and Network teams
• Develop/update security architectures, standards, policies and procedures to ensure compliance
• Provide support and consultancy to all business units in the region and provide security solutions for EMEA and Enterprise wide projects
• Providing Consulting to IT-project planners, other regions and on demand to customers
• Evaluating network and connectivity weaknesses and making recommendations to management on how to minimize these risks

Qualifications 

• Extensive method knowledge and founded know-how in security policy and standards, security concepts, security architecture
• Min. 4 years practical experiences in planning and running IT network and IT security
• Security audit experience
• Experience in development and implementation of IT security concepts especially within financial services
• Experience of POS network functionality and requirements
• Solid knowledge in communication protocols (TCP/IP, X.25), Firewalls, Router, Switches, MODEM, IDS/IPS, WAF
• Solid knowledge in Server and Client operating systems (Windows, Unix/Linux)
• Technically competent in Network and Host security and the various methods of encryption and authentication used throughout the industry
• Knowledge and experience of developing IT security, policies and guidelines
• Ability to establish the design and architecture of all security components to ensure the strongest available security protects the Clients and the Business from attacks
• Experience of developing effective working relationships across the Business to ensure all security requirements are recognized at every stage of the planning, execution and review phases of every project ( Experience in leading projects)
