Pracovní náplň 

The Sourcing Manager is a prominent role within the Firm Sourcing Team as s/he closely collaborates with different internal and external stakeholders and as such represents our client’s standard for top class service to the outside world. Due to the global scope of this service all communication is in English.

Typical for the role is that the Sourcing Manager regularly encounters a variety of support requests in the defined area. The challenging and fast-paced work environment requires the individual to be highly adaptable, willing and able to learn and ready to work on new tasks and take on new responsibilities.

Key responsibilities
• Lead and manage larger RFP/sourcing/negotiation projects (coordinating 1-3 project team members) for all non-centrally managed categories and may occasionally manage or support centrally managed categories such as travel, IT, meeting planning, and real estate
• Actively participate and support 25-50% of sourcing projects to coach team and to meet SLAs, productivity targets
• Coach & develop team to meet or exceed professional development goals and have team aspire to meet or exceed service levels
• Manage expected service levels; productivity targets
• Assist in managing the performance of members
• Identify and resolve performance issues, communicate in a timely manner, adapt coaching style and encourage performance improvement
• Establish network and collaborate with office Leaders
• Reward success, provide help and resources to team members and share team vision

Potřebná kvalifikace 

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• Strong command of English language both verbal and written, additional language skills are advantage (French, Italian, German, Dutch)
• 5 years of experience in Sourcing / Sourcing or related professional services field
• 3 years of experience in managerial roles
• Strategic sourcing experience (managing RFPs, identifying savings levers)
• Good industry knowledge for indirect categories
• Very good MS Excel skills
• Ariba, SAP or related software knowledge
