SQL/PLSQL Developer - Position # 3812
Company Profile
Our client is international company operating within IT providing services mainly to banks.
Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, debug, and document credit card management system to meet client needs within the specified timelines.
- Create sizing for the to be implemented components.
- Enhance existing programs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
- Design relational models for small and large scale applications.
- Provide data analysis and validation.
- Identification of performance issues.
- PL/SQL and SQL Tuning of existing applications.
- Contribute during production handover. Ensure success of setting new versions into production. On-Call duty for supporting the production handover.
- Stay active and current in business technology trends, direction and innovation related to business process and technology areas of focus for the position.
Qualifications
- Advanced database development experience (Oracle SQL/PLSQL).
- Basic Knowledge of the following technologies: Java, Unix Shell script.
- Strong problem solving, analytical and programming skills.
- Familiar with database management program PL/SQL Developer.
- Knowledge of Oracle database architecture.
- Minimum 2+ years of developing experience in PLSQL, beginners with university degree with programming experience are welcome.
- BS/BA in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
- Masters degree in Computer Science preferred.
- Quick learner, eager to leverage new technologies in a dynamic team environment.
- Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills (English).
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and multitask effectively.
- Knowledge of banking system and payment cards.
- English language is a must
